Excel Paris Matte Lip Cream: TIPS AND TRICKS

This matte lipstick is definitely a hit for fashionistas and make-up enthusiasts out there. Girls do agree that excel paris is a lipstick that can last up to forever; and by forever means to not leave your lips without using any make-up remover. So here are some TIPS and TRICKS when applying the excel paris matte lip cream.

* If you are not sure about what color you would wear, think before applying it. If you won't think before you paint your lips, then your lips will suffer. Remember your lips are very sensitive, treat them like babies. :)
* Don't wear them with lipgloss. It will dry your lips and will cause them to crack.
* Beware when buying excel paris matte lip cream, you may end up buying fakes.
* If you are not sure if you are allergic with them or not, do not apply it directly on your lips. Do a skin test and leave it on your skin overnight if you have any allergic reaction.
* Do choose what color suites you best. Else, you will end up looking like a clown.
* If you could not resist to wear them with lip gloss, only apply small amount just enough to make your lips shine.
* If you do not have make-up remover, use oil based products like baby oil or skin moisturizer to remove them. This will not hurt your lips. You can also use petroleum jelly for removing lip stains. 

This last Trick you should not skip trying.

1) Apply a red sheer type of lipstick that makes your lips shine, but not to shiny.
2) Choose the nude color and apply.
3) Balance out the two colors before the matte lipstick dries up on your lips.

A must have color for those of you who love to experiment on things and color. Try to combine two different color together. For example Dark red sheer lipstick with the nude excel paris. Those two have contrasting color the red is the dark side of the color wheel and the nude is on the light side. So if you put these together, it will result into a nudy pinkish color that has matte texture but wont dry your lips and will stay long.

4) Rock your lips and pout :)

Anne Curtis Inspired Look: Less is More

Well this is my first post for the month of march and I was thinking of doing a post about putting less make-up and look MORE gorgeous.

So the look below is inspired by Ms. Anne Curtis, who is more beautiful when she puts less make up in her face. But of course she is beautiful even without make up.

 

Well Ms. Anne Curtis likes to wear, big voluminous curls. Remember girls hair is your crowning glory. Thus, you need to invest on your hair more than on your clothes. Nah! just kidding you need to invest in both.

For hair:

I have a short hair so I decided to put clip on hair extensions, that is close to the color of my hair. 

To camouflage those hair extensions with your hair, you need to curl your hair before and after you put on the clips. I was planning to do a tutorial, what do you think guys?

here is a photo for clear view of what the hair extensions looks like when worn

 Basically, I just curled my hair and put it in a half ponytail and then clipped the extensions. Let the other half down and then curled them. This way, the hair extension is more natural.

For the make up

Very simple

Just bb cream, concealer to conceal blemishes, finished with powder.

For the eyes/eyebrows

Just fill them in and straighten it up when filling to get a more full looking eyebrow.

Curl your lashes, put some mascarra

that is it..

For the lips

throw on a pop up color of matte lipstick

shades like pink will do.

and there you go... FINISH

OOTD on a gloomy weather

 

Casual OOTD for a gloomy weather.

If the weather makes you lazy, then just jump into your baggy sweat shirt and comfy shorts.

A sling bag that is not so big nor small, you can bring anything you want without forgetting style.

For the shoes? well a nice white low cut converse should complete the outfit.

You can simply run your errands and do something in between.

OOTD Yesterday

 

This is what I wore yesterday.

What I love this outfit is the comfort it gives me.

Style without sacrificing comfort.

A high-waisted jeggings paired with a black and white floral corset

and a pop up color of a red blazer.

For the make-up, just plain RED lipstick.

Julia Montes Inspired Make up

 

The make up I am wearing is a Julia Montes Inspired Make-up Look

Well, first I am a fan of Julia Montes during her MARA CLARA days up to now.

To re-create this look you must first have:

For the FACE:

a concealer

liquid foundation

mineral foundation

For the BROWS:

a simple eye liner

For the EYES:

Eye primer (if you do not have eye primer you can skip those)

eye shadow with the shades of 

1.light brown

2.nudy brown

3.very light purple

4.champagne color

and 5.white

liquid eyeliner to line the eyes

and mascara to emphasize your lashes

For the LIPS:

a nudy rose pink

(any brand will do)

and that is all you need to create this look

First you need to apply the liquid foundation all over your face

next, apply concealer to any blemishes you have to give it a nice flawless look

after you apply concealer, set your face with some foundation using a kabuki brush

Draw your brows as thick as you can, but of course without even trying to have your brows getting to look very untidy. You can notice that Julia Montes has a very definite eyebrow shape, so if you want to recreate her looks. Make sure you have nice defined eyebrows.

After that you want to make your eyes more natural looking. So line your eyes as close to the lashes and don't be to harsh on putting the eyeliner on. Be gentle and try not to have smudges.

as you have noticed I have numbered the color or shade of eyeshadow for you not to be confused of the colors I am using in this tutorial.

after lining your eyes, you should put the shade no. 4 at the center of eyelid. 

Put no.2  near the inner corners of your eyes

Put not. 5 in the inner corners of your eyes.

Put no. 1 at the outer corners of your eyes creating a V shape or some cat eye shape.

Use no. 3 at your lower lash line to balance out the look.

curl you lashes and add up mascar. You can use your falsies to have fuller looking eyelashes.

Lastly, you can put on your nudy pink lipstick. Any brand will do.
